New From the Art Room

March is Youth Art Month, so our little Art Department worked together to create a display to showcase the major media we tackle with the students every year.  Colleen an awesome student teacher working with me this semester also created this fantastic Doodle Tree, with Doodles we had the students create at a school wide Academic Night.  The three dimensional flowers were created by second graders, and the trunk is made by tracing student hands. 
The Birch Tree paintings were created by First Graders!  They had a blast making them, and the colors are just awesome!
