About the Artist

Amanda R. Wright: I find my inspiration all around me. In my relationships, environment, and imagination. I'm inspired by the love of mixed media and any type of artwork that comes from the heart. Currently an art educator I find joy and inspiration from my students. I began my artistic journey as a child playing with my cousins in Northern, New York. Upon graduation with a Studio Art degree from SUNY Potsdam, I moved to Northern Virginia to teach elementary art. I completed a MIS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
